The NHLBI BioData Catalyst (BDC) ecosystem provides a controlled-access environment for sharing RMIP study data, with appropriate access to these data regulated through dbGaP. Accordingly, each RMIP study contributing data to BDC must be registered with dbGaP to establish the information needed to manage access to its data. This document guides investigators through each step of this initial registration phase.
