Welcome to BDC!

If you are a Heartshare investigator, you wold have received an email inviting you to do the following before the meeting on May 6th:

In order to access relevant all areas of the ecosystem, we encourage you to complete the following actions:

• Join the BDC Community to have full functionality and interactivity with Help Desk support, our knowledge-base and the BDC forum.
   
• Create an account on BDC powered by Seven Bridges
   
• Subscribe to the BDC YouTube Channel for short, helpful videos on key activities in the ecosystem.

During the meeting, we gave a brief overview tour of BDC:

• Amber Voght gave an overview of the BDC Ecosystem (5 minutes).
  
  
• Emily Hughes gave an overview and demonstration of how to search data and build cohorts on BDC, using both open and authorized systems. She also answers a question about searching across data sets (13 minutes).
  
  
• Cera Fisher gave an overview of creating projects on BDC, introducing managing permissions and an outline of live support available for investigators.

What's next?

• We encourage you to use open and authorized mechanisms to search cohorts and try out BDC powered by Seven Bridges with sample data or your own data to test out the system.
  
  
• Register for the May 22nd BDC Community Hours at 1PM ET, where we will highlight a new features that allows you to save cohorts with a unique ID to revisit later. If you cannot attend the Community Hours, please register anyway and you will be sent the video and materials from the event via email.
  
  
• Watch Emily Hughes demonstrate how to export cohorts into BDC powered by Seven Bridges.
